JoY

The JoY project works to access the physical state of JoY and wield it’s generative and choreographic potential, through game structures, towards interaction and performance.

  1. What movements evoke the physical state of JoY?
  2. What movements come out of the (dance trained) body that is in this state of JoY?

Not the expression, representation or demonstration of joy as an individualist emotion but the physicality  made available through this state and the power of this physical state socially.

In retrospect, the JoY project must have been part of the genesis of Danced Together
